Description

For this poster I was mainly concerned with layout and simplicity. Using the design principles we learned in class, I tried to keep the format of the poster as simple as possible. The picture of the toilet with a sink on top is intended to catch the student’s attention because of its “weird” and bad design. I purposely made the picture take up a fourth of the page, and utilized the cartoon to direct a person’s attention to the “IEOR 170” written in bold. Instead of writing about the topics covered in class, I just used the phrase “Innovative. Interactive. Imaginative.” to describe the overall experience of IEOR 170. Interested students will then hopefully check out the website to find out more information about the class, or even enroll in it next semester.
