An example of a good design would be a ketchup bottle that stands on its lid, as opposed to ketchup bottles that traditionally have their lids on the top. The advantage of this design is that the user does not need to flip and shake the bottle in order to get ketchup to come out. The ketchup has already accumulated at the opening due to gravity.

An example of a bad design is a Kleenex box. As the box becomes empty, the user has trouble reaching the bottom of the box to get a Kleenex. I suggest designing a box with a spring underneath the tissue that forces all the tissues up to the roof of the box. Kleenex probably did not do something like this because it would be expensive to manufacture. However, users could buy one such box with a spring, and replenish that box with tissues bought in bulk. This would be economically feasible.
